This is the U Sports Championship templates for the Dinos' Instagram page. It will be used to announce the athletes and teams who've won this year. Mostly from their swimming, wrestling, and track teams.
While designing these templates, I made sure that the overall design is cohesive and follows the brand guidelines of the Dinos. I incorporated their primary colors, using red for the background and accents of yellow around the template's background.
o emphasize important details and information, I applied a drop shadow effect. Additionally, each medal features a bevel effect, creating a three-dimensional texture for a more realistic appearance.
Rather than sticking to the conventional 1:1 ratio for the images, I aimed to use a distinct shape that could accommodate both individual athletes and team images seamlessly.
Using an arced shape container attains a visually engaging layout while providing versatility to showcase both individual portraits and group photos.
This version is tailored for teams. I've made a minor adjustment by adding a placeholder for team names, ensuring they still harmoniously go well with the overall design flow of the template.
