The unbelievable poster underwent extensive masking in Photoshop to achieve its final look and feel. It was one of the projects I designed during our first semester in Visual Communications, aiming to blend several images fluidly and has taught me how to efficiently mask in Adobe Photoshop.
The images above are some of the photos I utilized in crafting this poster. Throughout the design process, I wanted to construct a fictional character, blending elements from Unsplash to bring the envisioned persona to life. I sought to construct this character through the strategic use of images.
This project demands a significant level of attention to detail, particularly due to the inclusion of several small images that need to be carefully positioned on the poster.
Just like my previous posters, the goal is to ensure that everything contributes to a cohesive look. I've integrated textures like the water texture to enhance the otherworldly feel of the character. Additionally, I've utilized a shade of green and reddish-pink, which are complementary colors, to achieve a harmonious visual balance. Lastly, to achieve overall consistency, I employed gradients to blend elements together and enhance the depth and dimensionality of the design.
